Overheard took time out last month to visit the new City bar wherethe drinks prices rise and fall according to demand, calculated by hi-tech
point of sale software. Aptly called The Market, the bar is the brainchild
of Nelson Hurst broker Patrick Van Geyzel (left) and barman Chris Maher
(right). All very exciting, but when Overheard pitched up the atmosphere
was more akin to a country pub than a City trading floor.
