The Association of Insurance Intermediaries and Brokers has made a formal complaint to both the General Insurance Standards Council and the Advertising Standards Authority regarding a Direct Line Advertisement.
The ad, which appeared in the Daily Mail and other national newspapers on the 3 January, prompted complaints from Aiib members. The advertisement stated: "[client] 'Direct Line said they could save me 30% and they did.' [Direct Line] 'That's because we don't rip you off with commission
