Towergate Underwriting has made its 26th acquisition - Alec Finch & Co's personal indemnity portfolio.The portfolio, worth £6m in gross written premiums, will combine with Towergate's existing £4m to create a specialist underwriting and broking service for both retail clients and regional intermediaries. The Alec Finch brand name will be retained and Alan Eyre, managing director of Alec Finch Professional Indemnity, will join the service.
