Mike Slack is a busy man. As well as being full time managingdirector of specialist motor trade intermediary Road Runner, he also finds
time to sit on the board of the General Insurance Standards Council and is
responsible for setting up and overseeing an intermediary trade body, the
Association of Insurance Intermediaries and Brokers.
The AIIB was established by Mr Slack in 1997, when, as an intermediary, he
found himself no longer registered with the Insurance Brokers Registration
