Lloyd's group Amlin has set up a new division to bring together theUK retail underwriting activities of its two constituent companies -
Angerstein Underwriting and Murray Lawrence.
Amlin Insurance has been created through the merger of motor syndicate
Summit and employers' liability syndicate Drysdales. While both syndicates
will continue to write motor, liability and professional indemnity under
their respective names, package and property business will be branded to
Amlin Insurance.
