The market for coach and bus insurance has never been particularlylarge. Even in the softest market there have only been a handful of
composite insurers and Lloyd's syndicates who were interested in working
with brokers to write this area of business. In today's hardening market
this enthusiasm is contracting further.
It is something of a paradox that the rates for coach business have not
yet risen as much as the rest of the commercial motor market. The pressure
on margins caused by the increase
