Brokers should be given more responsibility in the distribution chain
because they now often have more experience than insurers, according to
Colin Calder, head of broker development at Axa Insurance.


Mr Calder said experienced brokers often tell him of their frustration
when dealing with insurers' inexperienced knowledge in the insurance
sector.
