Max Taylor, the outgoing chairman of Lloyd's, is to join broker Aon
from 2 January, as full-time deputy chairman of its UK operations. The UK
broking and consulting activities will also be integrated under a new
entity, called Aon Limited. Mr Taylor will focus on major corporate
accounts, and said he chose Aon because he thought it would provide an
"interesting, exciting and stimulating" environment in which to work.
