Agricultural specialist Farmweb has transferred its £20m account fromNorwich Union to NIG. Policies will be transferred on renewal from 1
January 2002, and administered from a centre manned by both NIG and
FarmWeb. The partnership marks NIG's first foray into agricultural
underwriting. FarmWeb will renegotiate the existing covers, rates and
terms of its commercial policies and is running a series of roadshows with
NIG to explain the changes.
