The General Insurance Standards Council has been forced to postpone
the date by which transitional arrangements for rule F42 are made,
following an oral hearing of the Competition Commission Appeal
Tribunal.

The date for the imposition of transitional arrangements had already been
shifted to 15 October but will now only be announced after the CCAT has
given its verdict at the end of August. The proposed date for rule F42's
full implementation has also been postponed.
