Last month's Willis Commercial Network Conference in Portugal saw a great deal of action in the conference hall, as well as on the golf course. The key theme was the need for brokers and insurers to work together. Tim Collison was there.

When brokers arrived in Cascais for the start of the Willis
Commercial Network conference last month, some must have taken a look at
the lush green golf course and the swimming pool glistening in the
Portuguese sunlight and thought they were in for an easy couple of days.
But, by the end of the weekend, most were surprised how much conference
was packed in to such a short space of time.
