The British Insurance Brokers' Association has appointed technologyconsultant Garol to develop an independent broker software benchmarking
service, in a move to help its members evaluate any existing and new
broker software packages on the market.
The service will cost members about £125 for a year's subscription and
will be available from the end of July.
The appointment by BIBA's IT Forum, whose members include representatives
of brokers, insurers and the Association of British Insurers, follows
