The Council of Lloyd's has approved Judith Hanratty, companysecretary of BP, as a nominated member of the Council. Succeeding Sir
Jeremy Morse, she will serve a three-year term. Miss Hanratty is a
government nominee on the Insurance Brokers Registration Council. She is
also a member of the Monopolies and Mergers Commission, the Takeover Panel
and the Primary Markets Committee of the London Stock Exchange.
