Mike Williams, chief executive of the British Insurance Brokers'
Association, has called for brokers to pull together, cut costs and invest
in training. Speaking at a seminar on changes in employment law presented
in Chester by BIBA and the Society of Fellows, Mr Williams said: "We have
lost a lot of good people through mergers and acquisitions. The shrinking
number of players means we need to pull together."
