The Institute of Insurance Brokers will make the results of itssurvey into brokers' regulatory preferences available to the Office of
Fair Trading.
The survey asked brokers whether they would rather retain the IBRC
administrative infrastructure as a self-regulatory body for brokers, or
join the General Insurance Standards Council. Andrew Paddick, director
general of IIB, claims 91% of respondents are in favour of the former.
