Hiscox has launched a high net worth contents calculator to helpbrokers advise home owners about the risks of underinsurance. The insurer
estimates that three in five households are underinsured, due to basic
items such as clothes, carpets, sports equipment and kitchen appliances
not being taken into account when calculating the value of contents.
Brokers can access the calculator online at www.hiscox.com/insurance
_for_you/calculator.stm.
