Abbey Legal Protection has surprised the market by halving premiumson its employment-led commercial legal expenses policy.
The company said it has taken the decision following a two-year market
study which revealed that expensive litigation could be reduced through
effective risk management. Abbey said its legal helpline, which it set up
two years ago, has been an integral part of its risk management
activities.
The helpline is staffed by barristers and solicitors and has handled more
than 200,000
