Revisions to the health and safety regulations mean that insurers must encourage their customers to take a pro-active approach to managing and assessing related risks.

In the latest James Bond movie, there is the usual casino scene with
the customary smattering of rich, beautiful women and gun-toting heavies.
The air hangs thick with smoke.


This may be the movies, but, even so, the day of the politically correct
casino has not yet dawned. That day may be a little nearer, if
compensation is awarded in the well-publicised case of the asthmatic
casino croupier suing his employers for the alleged effect on his health
of passive smoking.
