Iron trades is reducing its agency base as part of a bid to treble
its business income and become a top 10 player in the UK market.

While the insurer refused to reveal the size of its agency, or by how much
it would be cut, it stressed that the numbers "will not be huge".

Norman Stangroom, intermediary support manager at Iron Trades, said: "We
want to build stronger links with brokers who have shown real willingness
and initiative to become stronger partners with us and achieve profitable
growth."
