Professionalism: Promoting chartered status online can help win business

Digital technology can hold huge benefits for brokers, especially when they have chartered status to promote, a marketing expert has said.

Peter Davies, director at Manchester based RMS PR, told Insurance Age that highlighting CII credentials on the company website and not just in the office reception could be the key to brokers winning business.

"It’s no good rolling your eyes and thinking that ‘chartered status won’t make a difference’ - the reality is that clients and customers value these things," he explained.

According to Mr Davies, in order to truly benefit from chartered status, brokers need to promote it "hard and deep"
