Broker QT: Olympian Edwards says disclosure lessons could be learnt from IFAs
Olympic triple jump gold medalist Jonathan Edwards is the latest big name to weigh into the transparency debate, admitting that on the surface his broker appears less professional than his IFA.
Speaking at the first Axa Question Time event in London alongside Amanda Blanc, the CEO of Axa commercial lines and personal intermediary and British Insurance Brokers' Association CEO Steve White, Edwards said: "If I compare the relationship I have with my broker and IFA - and it might be comparing apples with oranges, but for me it is a similar relationship - I know exactly what my IFA earns as I get reams and reams of paper.

FSCS gives first insight on increasing levy to £394m
