Pen Underwriting boss confident of broker support after Evolution purchase
Brand to be kept in the short term as Mark Armitage says all MGAs will rebrand to Pen Underwriting over time.
Following the news that Arthur J Gallagher-owned Pen Underwriting had bought Evolution Underwriting Group, Pen's managing director Mark Armitage said brokers would benefit from gaining access to more products.
"The relationship with brokers shouldn't change because of this," he told Insurance Age. "It's really a positive deal for everybody involved and it will lead to more opportunities for the team at Evolution."
Paul Upton will stay in his current role as Evolution's group chief executive
