Brokers have a “massively important part to play” in ensuring that customers receive value from their insurance products, according to Matt Brewis, director, insurance and conduct specialists at the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA).

Speaking at the 2021 Biba Conference, he explained that the regulator will continue to focus on product value going forward, highlighting that the issue is not just around pricing, but also around the level of service provided, product quality and whether available
