Biba reports return to growth in 2021
The British Insurance Brokers’ Association has reported a £211,410 rise in net assets for 2021.
The increase took member funds up to £4.22m.
The trade body’s results, filed at Companies House, did not detail profit or loss or level of turnover.
However, in a statement Biba confirmed that turnover was up 19% thanks to increased membership income.
In 2020 turnover had dropped by 36% after Biba had been forced to cancel its conference due to the pandemic.
In 2021 Biba pivoted to hosting the conference on digital platforms.
The conference is known to be a significant earner for Biba and
