SRG details acquisition spend in run-up to PE deal

Specialist Risk Investments, bought by Warburg Pincus and Temasek last year, spent over £65m on deals in 2023 and has detailed subsequent outlays.

The figures for the parent company of Specialist Risk Group were revealed in a Companies House filing last month.

In 2023, SRG’s four purchases cost £65.23m, of which nearly £40m was paid in cash.

These consisted of Essex-based mid-market commercial insurance broker Consort Insurance for £14.46m in April 2023 and Oxfordshire-based specialist broker Fleet and Commercial for £15.22m, which completed in June the same year.
