Bolt-on deal sealed by Bspoke, with more to come, says Smyth

Bspoke has completed a bolt-on deal and has a “fair bit” of ongoing activity, group CEO Tim Smyth told Insurance Age.

Smyth declined to reveal full details on the completed buy, but said: “There’ll definitely be more announcements made… we are in the final stages on several [deals].”

Bspoke does not have a target number to deliver, he noted. “If they’re the right fit culturally, yes, we’ll go for it, but it’s not like we’re going for a GWP number.

“We’ve got support from the shareholders to do it.”

It completed the acquisition of the personal lines book of the Police and Forces Mutual businesses in March 2024, and
