CII General Insurance Task Force up and running
The Chartered Insurance Institute (CII) has set up a task force of senior general insurance practitioners to drive higher levels of professionalism within the industry as part of its campaign to raise professional standards.
The task force will develop a common framework for all aspects of professionalism. It will engage the industry in raising standards right across the general insurance sector.
Task force chair, Barry Smith, CII deputy president and CEO of Fortis Insurance, said he believed that the inclusion of well known and respected industry individuals was vital: "This reflects well on our sector where we are taking a market-led initiative on professionalism to reinforce the value the industry can bring to
