Groupama bolsters counter-fraud capabilities

Groupama Insurances has stepped up its counter-fraud efforts at a time when fraudulent activity has been on the rise and an there has been increased focus on cost control across the insurance sector.

The new initiative will be driven by an enhanced team of counter-fraud specialists and the appointment of RG Investigations and The Cotswold Group to its investigator panel.

The team will be led by Stephen Teeling, counter fraud manager, who has been Groupama for five years in the claims division. He will manage Groupama's counter fraud activity across all business divisions - personal lines, commercial lines and healthcare. Mr Teeling also serves as the Deputy Chairman of the Insurance Fraud
