Cox Insurance has taken over Bennetts UK, the high-street personal lines network, in a bid to expand its insure-shop network and increase its coverage in the south of England.
The insurer now owns Bennett's 20 branches in the South, in addition to its head office in Worcester. These branches will supplement Cox's 21-strong insure-shop network, creating the sixth largest high-street broking operation in the UK.
