Insurers drag feet over Gisc legacy
Brokers confused as large insurers still use old Gisc stationery months after FSA regulation began
Brokers have informed Insurance Age that a number of large insurers are still using stationery and documents containing references to the General Insurance Standards Council (Gisc) instead of the Financial Services Authority (FSA).
One broker said: "I recently ordered some new documents from Norwich Union (NU) only to receive the old type documents still containing reference to Gisc. On enquiry we are told that the new stationery had not yet arrived from the printers and that we should continue
