The Chartered Insurance Institute (CII) has urged smaller brokers to embrace the new Broker Academy initiative if they wish to survive in the current market climate.
The academy, backed by the British Insurance Brokers' Association and Axa, promises to be a one-stop-shop training and development utility for brokers. However, CII business development director Norrie Erwin was adamant that it represented much more than that.
