It has been estimated that as many as half of all properties are being underinsured, with a study by Norwich Union revealing that underinsurance totalled £130m on a sample of just 47 cases. If a building itself is underinsured, it is possible that contents could equally be undervalued, thus compounding the potential impact on the business
