Allianz Engineering has called for the support of its broker partners, after it revealed its intention to increase engineering inspection rates.
The insurer claimed that following a period of sustained reductions, it was important to introduce rating increases. It insisted that the move had been driven by the increasing impact of legislation, rising court and claims costs, increased broker commission and inspection fees not rising in line with inflation.
