Household GWP has increased by 14% to £70.8m (2002 Q3: £61.9m). Barry Smith, chief executive, Fortis, said: "While premiums have remained broadly flat for motor, we have maintained our strong market position, with private motor GWP at £291m (2002 Q3: £287m). In addition, our policy count is at an all-time high."
