Zurich and the Folgate Partnership are holding further discussions to determine "disengagement" procedures after the insurer cancelled its commercial lines agencies with the broker.
Dave Smith, head of market management, Zurich, blamed "lack of alignment of business models" but declined to comment any further as to why the decision was made.
But, according to a leading market source, Zurich's decision (reported on the Insurance Age website 21/6/04) marked the culmination of a row between the two
