A set of government reforms could radically shake up the dynamics of the entire insurance industry, according to one insurance law firm.

Hill Dickinson claimed the Legal Services Act would liberalise the strict ownership rules governing law firms, and allow solicitors and other lawyers to practice together. In addition, the Act could pave the way for brokers and insurers to either buy or set up their own in-house practice in order to offer legal services to their customers.
