Primary Broker Services' (PBS) new Scotland office is understood to be just weeks away from finally writing business.
Stephen Marshall, who was appointed managing director of PBS' Scotland Region in July, said he had hired four staff, including two underwriters, and expected to be moving into a central Glasgow office this month.
Mr Marshall added that he expected to start writing new business from the Glasgow office in November, his target for the first year being 'a few million'.
