George Berrie has been promoted to intermediary director at Norwich Union (NU), following a shake up of the insurer's top and second tier management.
The former NU director of northern regional business has taken on the restructured role formerly undertaken by Ken Wallace, who confirmed his retirement.
Mr Berrie will report into new NU GI managing director Mark Hodges - whereas Mr Wallace reported to chief executive Patrick Snowball - following changes at the top of the insurer.
