If the issues of employers' liability (EL) and 'compensation culture'are not dealt with soon, it could mean the end for many companies acrossthe UK, warned Digby Jones, director-general of the Confederation ofBritish Industry.

Mr Jones told delegates that his members have been in difficulties for awhile where EL was concerned in terms of obtaining and affordingcover.
