Independent Lloyd's broker Lochain Patrick Insurance Brokers has announced an agreement in principle to acquire the specialist marine reinsurance advisory and broking firm London Special Risks (LSR), subject to approval from Lloyd's. David Edwards, managing director of LSR, will join the board of Lochain Patrick and all staff will be integrated throughout the combined operations.
