Aviva confirmed it was to shut one of its service centre operations in India and bring the work back to the UK. The insurer will relocate the roles involved in scheduling and dispatching its field engineers for motor claims, following a deal with Click Software that it hopes will allow it to schedule appointments more efficiently for the inspection of damaged vehicles. As a result of the contract, NU will replace the number of contact centre roles needed to do the work by 90%.
