Intermediary network, Ceta, has introduced a new SMS text renewal process as part of its continued effort to help members simplify and retain renewal business and boost electronic insurance transactions.

The network, which handles policy administration for its members, will send brokers' customers their renewal notices by mobile text, through which they will be directed to a secure site where they can pay directly by credit card or opt for direct debit. The service works on all mobile phones
