Brokers call for more action on trade credit insurance
Experts have welcomed changes to the government's top-up scheme but say that more help is needed
Industry experts have welcomed the government’s decision to assist the take up of trade credit insurance cover under its top-up scheme but say more help is needed.
The department for Business Innovation and Skills has announcement a reduction in the rate applicable for cover and increase in the upper limits, together with removal of the minimum cover requirement.
The top-up scheme is designed to tackle the reduction in trade credit insurance cover and runs until the end of the year.
