CBG suffers in volatile market
CBG Group's half yearly results for its broking division revealed a slump in operating profit to £847,000 for the first six months of 2009 from £1.17m in the same period last year, while revenue dipped to £3.7m (H1 2008: £4.2m).
The group as a whole announced a drop in profit before tax to £171, 000 (H1 2008: £930,000), while the total revenue also dropped from £5.66m to £4.86m in the same period.
