Igal Mayer to return to North America
Current UK life boss, Mark Hodges, takes on joint CEO role for general insurance and life
Igal Mayer is to leave Aviva's UK operation to take up the role of CEO, North America as part of a wholesale organisational restructure at the company.
The restructure will see the insurer's UK life and general insurance businesses brought together under Mark Hodges who will take on the enlarged role of CEO, UK. Mr Hodges is currently the CEO of the life part of the company.
Mr Mayer will be responsible for the insurer's operations in the US and Canada taking charge of life and general insurance
