New research has revealed that most insurance providers fail to follow up website leads

Over 60% of insurance providers fail to follow up website leads, according to new research conducted by Opitlead. However, the company admitted that this reticence could be due to a "grey area" regarding how information could be used.

Graham Mace, chief executive officer at Optilead, said it was "astonishing how few brokers follow up prospects that have taken the time to actually enter their details on their websites, but for some reason have failed to complete the application".
