Brit director moves over to Markel
After 12 years, Hugh Maltby leaves Brit to take on new operational post
The former group services director at Brit Insurance has left his role to become operations director at Markel International.
Mr Maltby, who will be based in London, has more than 20 years of experience of working in the insurance industry, including the 12 years he spent working at Brit where, as operations director and then as group services director, he developed a scaleable operational structure that is seen as a key part in Brit's recent growth.
