Almost half of commercial brokers are unaware of their clients' level of exposure to corporate manslaughter legislation, according to new research.
Despite the high profile of the Cotswolds Geotechnical Holdings trial, the first to be brought under the Corporate Manslaughter and Corporate Homicide Act 2007, a survey by Allianz has revealed that 44% of intermediaries were unaware of the penalties proposed under the legislation.
