FSSC appoints chief executive

The Financial Services Skills Council (FSSC) has announced the appointment of Liz Field as chief executive, after it was required to recruit for a permanent chief executive following the renewal of its licence in March.

Ms Field joined the council as interim chief executive in October last year and has played a key role in developing and finalising the FSSC’s new strategy, restructuring the organisation and leading it to its relicensing by the Government. She is currently working with the rest of her team to deliver an improved sector skills council.
