Digital extension programme to encourage regional broking
Government plans to transform the country's digital infrastructure could empower regional brokers and make the industry less London-centric, according to IT experts.
The Government has launched a programme to extend the reach of mobile broadband across the country and to deliver the latest technologies to consumers.
Minister for communications, Ed Vaizey, said: "We want the UK market to remain at the fore of delivering devices like the iPad and smart phones but they need the networks to continue to improve and increase services.
